Completing treatment is an important milestone, but it doesn't mean that everything suddenly becomes easy. Returning to family, work, responsibilities and familiar environments can bring new challenges while someone is still strengthening their recovery.
Oasis exists to provide a safe and structured bridge between treatment and independent living.
The WHAT
Oasis Sober Living House provides a safe, structured and supportive home for people who are committed to maintaining a sober lifestyle and rebuilding their lives in recovery.
Located in the peaceful suburb of Randpark Ridge, Randburg, Oasis offers more than simply a place to live. It provides structure, routine, accountability and community during a time when having the right environment can make a meaningful difference.
We understand that returning straight into everyday life after treatment or during early recovery isn't always easy. Family relationships, work, responsibilities, social situations and familiar environments can all bring challenges.
Oasis provides a stepping stone between treatment and independent living, allowing residents to gradually adjust to everyday life while continuing to have the support and structure of a sober living environment around them.
Recovery doesn't follow a fixed timeline, and neither does the journey towards independence.
The HOW
At Oasis, we believe that stability comes before independence.
Our role is to provide a structured environment where residents can practise the realities of everyday sober living while continuing to build a strong foundation for their future.
Through clear expectations, daily structure, shared responsibilities, peer support and accountability, residents are encouraged to take increasing responsibility for their choices, their recovery and their lives. We provide an environment where residents can:

Take responsibility for commitments, choices and behaviour.
Build supportive connections
Live alongside others who understand the challenges of recovery and can offer encouragement and peer support.
Develop independence
Gradually take on more responsibility and confidence as they prepare for life beyond structured living.
Maintain their recovery
Continue putting the principles and routines of sober living into practice in a safe and supportive environment.

The DIFFERENCE
Oasis is not a treatment centre, and it isn't simply a place to live.
We provide the space in between — a structured home environment where residents can begin putting their recovery into practice while gradually taking greater responsibility for their lives.
What makes Oasis different is the balance between structure and independence.
Residents aren't expected to navigate the transition alone, but neither are they sheltered from the realities of everyday life. They are encouraged to take responsibility for their routines, commitments, relationships and choices, with a supportive environment around them.
We believe that independence should be built gradually.
For some residents, the next step may come after a few months. For others, it may take longer. Our role is to provide a safe and stable environment for as long as that structure remains useful, while encouraging each resident towards greater independence.
